February is upon us and so is another Giggle Loop Presents…, a monthly night in London showcasing some of the best improv acts around. We have some freaking gems this month with solo funniness courtesy of Jinni Lyons, the return to GLP of King Me and some mega puppet lols from Glitch: The Improvised Puppet Show. And us too! Giggle Loop!
We will be at The Miller, London Bridge starting at 8pm (doors 7:30) on Tuesday 24th February. See you awesome idiots there.
As an Only Child, Jinni was always used to playing on her own. Come and watch her play on stage with myriad companions, each with their own story to tell…
Jinni improvises solo to create comical, lyrical, improvised vignettes. The show has its own personal, intimate atmosphere, and audience involvement is a key element – you may be asked to share a special memory, or even be invited up on stage for a cup of tea…
As well as performing solo, Jinni has also been part of improvathon ensembles in London, Bristol and Liverpool, and is a guest teacher of improv at The Actors Centre, London and Hoopla Impro. This year, she will be taking her solo show on an international tour, to comedy festivals in Austin, Texas and Boston.
‘Whose Line of Succession Is It Anyway?’
King Me are Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They can be seen around London Improvising Montages, Pretty Flowers and various hits from The White Album.
IMPORTANT DEETS, YO.
